I'm a Product designer and Full Stack Developer.
I enjoy expressing my creativity through insightful, intuitive, and decorative solutions to complex problems.
Outside of design, you'll find me lifting weights, sparring, trying new foods, or exploring the world.
My Story
I grew up in Dallas, but my journey really started when I visited New York City for the first time. There, I really understood what it felt like to explore the world through my own lens, and feel the inspiration and necessary drive of truly figuring out who I was and what I wanted to do.
I began by transferring to the University of Texas, where for a time, I studied Architectural Engineering. I branched out into Economics and Business, but never felt my calling in any of those fields.
I accidentally stumbled onto Product Design when browsing TikTok for career paths for my partner, a Psychology student. Oddly enough, I came to like Product Design much more than they did, and I found myself fully pivoting from Architecture a few months later. I enrolled in a part time UX Design bootcamp, with the goal of fully transitioning my career path by the time I graduated from UT.
In a challenging career field, and an even more challenging economy, I've recognized the importance of truly honing my skills, and even broadening them, to set me apart from other designers. With a passion for Design, I also took a strong interest in Full stack development, giving me a more well rounded skillset, as well as the ability to design and develop.
Product Design has given me the opportunity to use my empathy, creativity, grit, and logic, to help others and contribute to meaningful causes.
